The US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has seized $260,000 worth of cryptocurrency and luxury goods from NFT phishing scammer Chase Senecal, also known as Horror (HZ).

The assets included two NFTs, Bored Ape 9658 and Doodle 3114, worth $104,856 and $116,433 respectively, and an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak watch valued at $41,000.

The FBI relied on on-chain sleuth ZachXBT to track down HZ, who had allegedly carried out attacks on several NFT projects and targeted Discord servers of other projects.

ZachXBT discovered HZ’s address after he posted a picture of an iced-out Audemars Piguet watch on Twitter, which he had purchased for $47,500. The FBI’s seizure is part of their increased scrutiny of the crypto space.
