Despite the difficulties of 2020, Vitalik Buterin, co-founder of Ethereum, noted in an interview with Bankless that six cryptocurrency networks and entities have done well this year.
These include Uniswap DEX, Rai Reflex Index, Maker’s Dai stablecoin, Ethereum base layer, Ethereum Name Service (ENS), and an increase in smart contract wallets.
Buterin also pointed out that Bitcoin has seen increased adoption and traditional financial institutions such as Visa have become more involved in cryptocurrency.
He highlighted the influence of humans on any cryptocurrency protocol and warned investors to be careful.
