Solana Labs has created an open-source reference implementation for a ChatGPT plugin, which allows users to interact with the Solana network directly from OpenAI’s ChatGPT.
The Solana ChatGPT plugin is expected to enhance user experience by enabling developers to build AI-powered applications on the Solana network.
Additionally, users can check wallet balances, transfer Solana-native tokens, and buy non-fungible tokens (NFTs) using the plugin.
Solana Foundation also announced that it will be allocating grants to its ecosystem teams building AI tools on the Solana blockchain, with teams or individuals able to seek from $5,000 to $25,000 grants from a $1 million fund.
Solana’s native token, SOL, has seen a surge in price, rising by more than 11% in the last 30 days due to increased activity on the network.
