Jerone Roberts, the lawyer of ex-CEO of FTX Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF), has revealed that SBF has consented to be extradited to the United States in order to answer for criminal charges.

Roberts declared that the extradition will be done voluntarily and that the process will be finalized in court today. It is conceivable that SBF may be extradited on the same day.

in addition, Roberts noted that SBF’s decision is based on his wish to “make things right for the customers.”

SBF has been charged in the US by the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Commodities and Futures Trading Commission, and the Department of Justice.
