MicroStrategy chairman Michael Saylor has announced that the firm has converted its corporate email addresses to Lightning addresses, further indicating the company’s bullish stance on Bitcoin (BTC).

In a tweet on April 17, Saylor stated that people are now sending him 21 satoshis after the conversion. This means that people can now send BTC to Saylor using his email as an identifier.

The integration uses the Lightning Address protocol, which enables developers to replace standard Lightning payment requests with internet identifiers, such as email addresses.

The move has been welcomed by the crypto community, with some tagging Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong to the development.

MicroStrategy has spent $4.17 billion to acquire 140,000 BTC since adopting the BTC standard in March 2021. The company’s BTC holdings recently turned positive after the digital asset briefly traded above $30,000.
