Lucréce, an NFT artist, has claimed that Manchester United’s new NFT collection is taking inspiration from his own works and styles.

He has contacted Arthur Breitman, co-founder of Tezos, in an attempt to seek a resolution from the team. Lucréce’s pieces are more expensive than Manchester United’s collection, which sold out at a price of around $40 per NFT.

According to the terms and conditions of Manchester United’s collection, it was manufactured by TRILITECH PLATFORM OÜ, a for-profit branch of the Tezos Foundation, and is officially sanctioned by the Foundation.

It remains to be seen what kind of agreement Lucréce and Manchester United will come to.
