Fuse Network has launched Fuse 2.0, a payments network aimed at making it easy for businesses to adopt blockchain technology.

Fuse 2.0 is a user-friendly solution that is compatible with mobile devices and allows for the creation of new Software as a Service (SaaS) business models in a secure manner.

The network is divided into three levels: merchants, operators, and validators. Merchants use the Fuse tech stack to create apps for their customers while operators handle transactions and fees.

Furthermore, power validators provide services required by operators to develop functional Web3 applications.

The aim is to compete with traditional payment providers like Visa and Mastercard rather than other blockchain solutions.

Fuse CEO Mark Smargon will release further information about Fuse 2.0 during Q1 2023, including a White Paper, 2.0 Roadmap, and full technical documentation for developers.
