A motion has been filed in the US Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware to obtain information from Gabriel Bankman-Fried and Barbara Fried, the brother and mother of FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried.

The motion was filed by FTX and its debtors who are seeking estate assets belonging to the company and investors.

Only the legal representatives of Zhe “Constance” Wang and Joseph Bankman have agreed to cooperate with information sharing.

The filing also criticizes the former CEO for his reluctance to voluntarily assist in bankruptcy proceedings despite public promises to help customers and explain what happened.

Other FTX insiders such as Gary Wang, Caroline Ellison, and Nishad Singh have also declined or ignored requests for information.

The subpoena seeks to recover additional estate assets transferred prior to FTX’s collapse and argues that court-ordered production of information is routine in bankruptcy cases.
