FTX’s bankruptcy proceedings have seen lawyers and consulting firms bill a whopping $103 million in the first quarter.

A total of five firms have invoiced FTX over March, resulting in a combined $36.4 million being billed. The largest invoice again went to New York-based law firm Sullivan & Cromwell, who billed $14.1 million in fees and expenses, bringing their total for the first quarter to $44.4 million.

Other firms, including Alvarez & Marsal, Quinn Emmanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, and Landis Rath & Cobb also invoiced FTX for their respective services.

Despite the troubled six months, FTX has not given up yet, with its legal team eyeing a potential reboot of the trading platform as early as April 2024.
