Brett Harrison, formerly the president of the now-defunct FTX US, recently made a statement on Twitter indicating he would be revealing details about the exchange’s operations.
Harrison stepped down from his position as president in September 2020, following a crisis that led to the collapse of FTX US.
Before joining FTX, he was an executive at Citadel Securities, specializing in high-speed trading. Caroline Ellison, the ex-CEO of Alameda Research, and Gary Wang, the former CTO of FTX and Alameda, both have pleaded guilty to criminal charges and are assisting prosecutors.
The status of other people involved with FTX and Alameda, such as Nishad Singh, FTX’s former engineering director, is still unknown as authorities continue to investigate the company’s downfall.
Reports suggest that Harrison is currently attempting to raise funds for a startup that will provide crypto trading software for major investors.
When asked for comment about the information he plans to share, Harrison did not reply.
