In its latest version 10.0 update, Evmos, a blockchain in the Cosmos ecosystem, has introduced automated conversions for token swaps between the Cosmos and Ethereum blockchains.
These conversions will allow users to send native Cosmos tokens to Evmos, which will be automatically converted to Ethereum-compatible tokens that can be used on Evmos or other Ethereum-compatible blockchains.
Furthermore, users can transfer Ethereum-based tokens to other Cosmos blockchains from Evmos with a single transaction.
However, this automated conversion will only function for token pairings associated through Evmos’ governance system and will not work for any tokens that have not been mapped in this way.
Additionally, this update also includes support for the Ledger hardware wallet and bug fixes.
