A Dogecoin Whale has sparked speculation after moving a significant amount of tokens shortly after Elon Musk announced his decision to bring in a new CEO for Twitter.
The mysterious DOGE whale transferred over 13 million tokens, worth more than $927,000 at the time of the transaction, in a series of moves.
The whale sent the tokens from multiple wallets to a newly created wallet, spending just 3.63 DOGE in fees. These developments came after Musk announced that Linda Yaccarino would head Twitter as the new CEO.
Musk, who will still have a role at the platform, said that Yaccarino would handle business operations while he would focus on product design and new technology. He also posted about his desire to turn Twitter into an “everything app” similar to China’s WeChat.
The transfer of such a significant amount of DOGE by the mysterious whale has raised eyebrows and sparked speculation in the crypto community.
