Coinbase, the popular cryptocurrency exchange, has rolled out a number of new features for its Wallet app in an effort to further improve the safety and user experience for its customers.
The new features, which include transaction previews, token approval alerts, a blocklist of flagged dApps, and a spam token management feature, are intended to help protect users from potentially malicious activities such as phishing scams and wallet drainers.
Coinbase’s move comes in the wake of several high-profile crypto-related scams, including the recent $1 million NFT theft from Proof Founder Kevin Rose, as well as the Twitter account hijacking of the Azuki Ethereum NFT collection.
By introducing these new features to its Wallet app, Coinbase is hoping to make it easier and safer for users to securely store and interact with their crypto assets.
