Guy Turner, founder and host of the Coin Bureau crypto market commentary show, expressed his bullish outlook on Cardano ($ADA) during an interview on the CryptoBusy podcast.
Turner acknowledged that the cryptocurrency has its detractors, but believes that it has made significant progress recently, particularly with the successful Vasil upgrade.
He also highlighted Cardano’s dedicated community, a crucial factor in a project’s longevity, and noted that there are more upgrades scheduled, including the scaling-focused Hydra.
In a recent blog post, crypto analytics firm Santiment provided an overview of the positive and negative metrics surrounding Cardano.
On the positive side, there has been a significant increase in the number of “whale transactions” valued at $100k or more, with an average of 1,700 transactions per day in February compared to 300 in January.
Additionally, addresses holding 10k to 10m ADA have accumulated 659.53M ADA since the FTX collapse in November 2022.
Negative metrics include the length of time coins sit in an address, which has increased from 267 to 407 days over the past six months, and a decrease in the number of daily active addresses interacting with the ADA network, falling from 85,000 in November to 62,000 now.
