Argentine Football Association (ARG) fan tokens experienced a jump of almost 70% as a result of the fact that Canadian musician Drake lost his Bitcoin bet on Argentina’s win in the Copa America semifinals.

The price of ARG has increased by 101% over the past week and by 44% over the previous month, respectively, and has increased from $1.4071 to $2.3805 in the past twenty-four hours.

From its all-time high of $9.1 during the 2022 World Cup, it has remained 74% lower than it was at that time.

According to the data provided by CoinMarketCap, the market value of the token has rose to $27.71 million, making it the second-highest among soccer fan tokens.

Under the assumption that Canada would triumph over Argentina, Drake had staked $300,000 worth of Bitcoin on his Instagram post. There would have been a payoff of $2.88 million if the bet had been successful.
