Alchemy, the renowned blockchain developer platform, has unveiled AlchemyAI, a comprehensive suite of tools designed to harness the power of AI and facilitate the development process for web3 developers.

The suite includes two flagship products, namely ChatWeb3 and Alchemy ChatGPT Plugin, which will be made available to users in the coming weeks.

Alchemy’s foray into AI technology aligns with the recent trend of crypto companies integrating large language models (LLMs) like ChatGPT into blockchain applications.

The introduction of AlchemyAI aims to streamline web3 development and provide developers with expedited access to on-chain data.

The adoption of AI is expected to democratize web3 and lower the barriers to entry for non-technical individuals. Arjun Patel, Alchemy’s product manager, emphasizes that the industry is heading towards enabling easier access to web3 for a wider audience.

ChatWeb3, currently in beta, is an AI chatbot powered by ChatGPT. Leveraging extensive training on over 1000 Alchemy documents and various crypto resources, ChatWeb3 assists web3 developers in building software more efficiently and reducing common challenges.

By tapping into a vast library of predefined code snippets, templates, and best practices, developers can significantly save time on repetitive tasks.

Elan Halpern, a product manager at Alchemy, describes ChatWeb3 as a valuable pair programming partner for developers. It provides real-time assistance in debugging issues by allowing developers to seek guidance on unusual errors occurring on the blockchain.

Additionally, Alchemy has developed a standalone plugin for ChatGPT, which is accessible through OpenAI’s Plugin Marketplace.

This plugin enables developers and non-developers alike to access real-time blockchain information using natural language queries via Alchemy’s API endpoints.

At present, the plugin supports several blockchains, including Arbitrum, Ethereum, Polygon, and Optimism, with plans to expand support to all chains compatible with Alchemy in the future.
