According to Mike Alfred, a Bitcoin investor and advocate, Binance, a crypto trading platform, does not have one individual acting as their Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Rather, Alfred asserts that Binance has a “decentralized CFO” comprising of a team of more than 20 employees from the firm’s Treasury, as Changpeng Zhao, the CEO, apparently does not want a centralized CFO.
Furthermore, Alfred alleges that Binance is in conversations with potential investors, such as Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway, about a potential equity round that would lend credibility and support to the company.
It should be noted that these claims have not been officially confirmed.
